Teikoku Seiyaku’s laboratory is a former spinning mill building built in the early Showa Period of Japanese history which began in 1926. It has been renovated on the inside while keeping the exterior intact. There are now state-of-the-art facilities on the inside of the building.
Teikoku Seiyaku has been developing innovative patch formulations from the old techniques associated with clay/muddy poultices right up until present pioneering in the field of molded hydrogel patch technology.
As a professional in the field of transdermal medications, Teikoku Seiyaku will continue our research and development of hydrogel patches and tapes that advance this technology, as well as transdermal products that are systemic in action and target a wide range of therapeutic areas.
